QUOTES OF FROEBEL AND MONTESSORI

FRIEDRICH FROEBEL
Children are like tiny flowers; they are varied and need care, but each is beautiful alone and glorious when seen in the community of peers.

To learn a thing in life and through doing is much more developing, cultivating, and strengthening than to learn it merely through the verbal communication of ideas.

The Education of Man (1826)- "To learn a thing in life and through doing is much more developing, cultivating, and strengthening than to learn it merely through the verbal communication of ideas."

"Play is the highest expression of human development in childhood for it alone is the free expression of what is in a child's soul."

MARIA MONTESSORI:
The first idea the child must acquire is that of the difference between and evil.

Free the child's potential, and you will transform him into the world.

The greatest sign of success for a teacher...is to be able to say, 'The children are now working as if I did not exist.'

PASSION QUOTE:
Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.

MOTIVATION QUOTE:

Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.
Jim Rohn

WISDOM QUOTE:
For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.

  1. I do believe that people should have a choice in what source of education they would like to have. Some students respond well to a more laid back work environment.
