FAVORITE STORY AND MEMORY

MY FAVORITE CHILDREN BOOK AND MEMORY
Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?
By Eric Carle

The reason I love this story it teaches early childhood children the different colors, color words, easy to remember the story, and retell the story. Also the pictures are large and exciting.

MEMORY MOMENT

The most memory moment I have had as a teacher is when I taught a boy that was down syndrome at the age 15. I recall his first expression when he first learned how to print his first name. The expression was exciting, moving, and self-rewarding for he and I. Also he laid his head on my shoulder and hugged my neck as tight as he could. At that particular moment he was as proud as he could every be. He even went around showing every child in the classroom and even in the hallway as he changed classes the most remarkable thing is had accomplish as simple as writing his first name on a piece of paper. To him it was his first paper check!!!

  2. Brown Bear, Brown Bear is also my 5 year olds favorite book. She loves it so much that she has already memorized the words and also has the board game.
